While establishing Nef, we made a promise to ourselves: to give a new breath to everyone we touch...
At Nef, following our foundational philosophy, we embarked on a journey to undertake endeavors that breathe life into existence, much like a breath itself, and to make these endeavors an integral part of life. We defined our purpose as social responsibility and contributing to society. In founding Nef with the philosophy of being a social company, we positioned social responsibility as the core focus of our company's main activities. From the very beginning, we have invested more than half of our distributable profit into social responsibility projects. Our goal is to popularize the social company model in Turkey. As we strive towards this goal, we draw our greatest support from the strength derived from our foundational philosophy, supported by our growing number of dedicated individuals who constantly aim for improvement.
Foundation Identity
Under the umbrella of NEF, we initiated our efforts to create unique, innovative, and lasting values in order to foster the development of societal potential and transmit a sense of social awareness to future generations. We began our journey with the aim of creating impact and awareness in the lives of those we touch. Recognizing that empathizing with people's concerns and adding value to their lives necessitates action rather than just words, we adopted a foundation identity in 2015 and started to connect with volunteers who wanted to join us on our path. Every step taken at Nef Foundation was guided by the same thought: What we give is truly ours, not what we hold onto. Our wealth is measured by what we give, not just what we earn. Why Zafer Ultra Marathon?
Zafer-victory-ultra marathon race to commemorate the honorable struggle of the Turkish Nation for independence is a noble and inspiring action. It is a powerful way to remember and honor the sacrifices made during that crucial period in history. In the year 2022, on the 100th anniversary of this challenging battle, we, as the Turkish Nation, organized the Zafer Ultra Marathon under the Nef Foundation to understand, internalize, and value the relentless journey of the National Struggle times.
In the 101st year of the established tradition of the Zafer Ultra Marathon (also marking the 100th year of our Republic), we are now running it virtually with the participation of Turks from all around the world.
